Gov’t Mule has announced new 2026 spring tour dates with support from Larkin Poe and singer-songwriter Maggie Rose. The 11 new shows will take the Warren Haynes-led blues-jam outfit through the Midwest and Southeast in April [get tickets].
The new tour dates will kick off on April 14th at Kansas City’s Uptown Theater. Roots rock duo Larkin Poe will join Mule for shows in Kansas City, Des Moines (4/15), Farmington, PA (4/17), Charlotte (4/18), Athens, GA’s Classic Center Theatre (4/19), Chesterland, MO (4/20), and Nashville’s The Pinnacle (4/22). Gov’t Mule will play without support on April 23rd in Chattanooga, TN, before linking up with Maggie Rose for a one-off on April 24th in Albertville, AL. Haynes and Rose recently shared the stage at Warren’s annual Christmas Jam benefit concert in Asheville, NC, where Maggie joined on a stirring cover of the Grateful Dead‘s “Sugaree”.
Finally, the new Gov’t Mule 2026 spring tour dates will close with Arkansas shows in Little Rock (4/25) and Fayetteville (4/28), featuring no opening act. After this, the band will press on to New Orleans, where Haynes will helm a two-night, two-band takeover at the Orpheum Theater during Jazz Fest. On April 30th, Warren will present a special Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience evening with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, followed by a Gov’t Mule show on May 1st. Terence Higgins will once again join Warren Haynes, keyboardist Danny Louis, and bassist Kevin Scott on this tour as co-founding drummer Matt Abts continues to recover following surgery for issues stemming from a lifetime spent behind the kit.
An artist pre-sale for tickets to the newly announced Gov’t Mule 2026 spring tour dates will begin Wednesday, February 4th at 12 p.m. ET, followed by local pre-sales on Thursday at noon ET.
